My name is Keira Proust. I'm a photographer, writer and gallivanter. I am currently based in Melbourne, working in the media space. I am also freelancing as a photographer, editor, videographer and writer. I'm particularly interested in working with NGOs and not-for-profits.

 

I recently returned home after 11 months abroad. I embarked on the journey with my partner, and we were very keen to keep our carbon footprint as small as possible. So, we attempted large chunks of our trip without flying and instead relied heavily on public transport.​

Before that, I worked as a journalist at the ABC. I acquired a highly adaptable skillset during my five years at the news organisation. This includes videography, image/video editing, photography, writing, copy-editing, and pitching skills.
